I'm heading to Palm Springs with a friend for a whole month...We're driving down and going to stop in San Fran for a few days too. I really need a break although I can't complain about the Portland weather this winter. My roommate is going to man my Etsy shop and when I return, spring should be in full swing, Any ideas on what to do there? I've never been.

Have a wonderful time. In Palm Dessert there is a flea market every Sunday. They call it a flea but it is mostly new items and great produce. Take the tram up the mountain and go for a walk and enjoy the view. There are fun little shops downtown. There are many sites nearby if you are there for a month. Just relaxing is my favorite thing to do!
